The people who enjoy their Rotary experience the most are those members who involve themselves in aspects of service to their community and world.  "Service Above Self" is certainly what we encourage in our members but it is also the great pathway to individual growth and fulfillment.

The Rotary Club of Wilmington West has many opportunities for individuals to make a true difference through the initiatives listed below.  Rotary is structured to enable and encourage those very rare and special people who want to create their own service project - small or large.

Whether we are eradicating Polio around the world or providing dictionaries to elementary schools in town, Rotarians act in a spirit of sharing and with a love for humanity.  This year's theme is Building Communities, Bridging Continents.

Maybe there is a larger role for you to play.  Maybe you will make all the difference in the life of a child or in the life of a village.  The men and women of Rotary will help you turn your dream of service into a reality.  Be our guest for Lunch to find out more.  We meet every Wednesday at NOON at the University and Whist Club on Broom Street.
